The Foundation
Everything Here Is
Trauma-Informed.
That Is Not a Feature — It Is the Floor.
Trauma-informed care is not just a phrase. At Brain & Heart Healing, it shapes how intake is paced, how consent is framed, how treatment is planned, and how every session is held.
It means starting where you are — not where we think you should be. It means your history is context, not a verdict. And it means that even when the work is hard, you are never the problem being fixed.
The behaviors and struggles you bring into this room are not character flaws. They are survival strategies. You will be treated as a person — not a file number, not a diagnosis, not a mandate.
The Brain
The neurobiological and behavioral side of healing. Understanding patterns, building skills, and rewiring the responses that no longer serve you. Utilizing ACT, CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
The Heart
The relational and attachment-based side of healing. Repairing trust, rebuilding connection, and finding safety in relationship again. Utilizing Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Grounded in Attachment Theory and Family Systems.
The Integration
Real change requires both. No single method holds all the answers. The goal is finding the tools that fit your story — not a formula applied to everyone who walks through the door.

Where the Brain and the Heart
Finally Work Together.
Healing is not one-size-fits-all. Neither is the person sitting across from me. Whether you are arriving here by court order or by your own search for something better, I bring the same commitment to the room — to understand your story first, and then to find the tools that actually fit it.
With over 25 clinical modalities in my toolbox, my work is guided by one core belief: that both the brain and the heart have to be in the room for real change to happen. The brain needs to understand what is happening and why. The heart needs to feel safe enough to let it.
I do not believe any single method holds all the answers. What I do believe is that you already hold more than you think — and my job is to help you access it.
