What This Program Is

This Program Satisfies Your Legal Requirement.
It Also Gives You Something Beyond It.

The Family Violence Education (FVE) program at Brain & Heart Healing is accepted by Texas courts and CPS as a condition of compliance for court-ordered FVE. It is designed for individuals required by a court, probation officer, or CPS caseworker to complete a Family Violence Education program as part of their case plan.

Completion documentation is accurate and timely — delivered to all required parties. But this program is built to do more than check a box. Every session is grounded in a trauma-informed foundation that recognizes the full human being in the room, not just the mandate they are fulfilling.

Who This Is For

This Program Is Designed For...

  • Individuals court-ordered to complete a Family Violence Education (FVE) program as a condition of their case
  • Individuals required by a CPS caseworker or probation officer to complete FVE as a condition of case compliance
  • Individuals who want to understand the patterns that brought them here — and build something different going forward

Whether you arrived by mandate or by choice, you will be received with the same dignity and the same clinical standard. The legal requirement and the human need for healing are not in conflict here.

The Clinical Foundation

Trauma-Informed Means Something Specific Here.

Trauma-informed is not a marketing phrase at Brain & Heart Healing. It is a clinical framework. It means recognizing that people involved in family violence situations — whether as the person who caused harm, the person who experienced it, or both — are almost always operating from a nervous system that learned to survive in difficult circumstances.

It means providing education that does not rely on shame as a motivator, because shame has never been an effective agent of lasting behavioral change. And it means holding two things simultaneously: accountability for impact, and understanding of context.
